What Makes This Recipe So Great
Cooking Advice
- Make sure your dough is well-kneaded to develop gluten for a good texture.
- Let the dough rise in a warm, draft-free place for a better rise.
Directions
Pour the water, olive oil, and salt into one side of your bread machine. Then, add about a third of the chopped apricots on top of the liquid, followed by 2 cups of flour. Sprinkle some more apricots in the middle of the flour, and finish by adding the remaining flour and apricots on top. This layering helps the apricots mix in better, especially if your bread machine isnβt super powerful. Set your machine to the French loaf setting for a 2-pound loaf and let it do its thing, which usually takes around 3 and a half hours. When the cycle is finished, take the bread out and let it cool before slicing.
