Why This Recipe Is So Popular
Practical Cooking Tips
- Use fresh corn on the cob for the best flavor and juiciness.
- Brush the corn with butter before adding the caramel corn for extra richness.
Directions
Lay out a large piece of aluminum foil for each ear of corn. Brush the corn all over with melted butter and sprinkle a little salt to taste. Pour some brown sugar onto a plate, then roll the buttered corn in the sugar until it's nicely coated. Next, wrap two slices of bacon around each ear, securing it as best you can. Wrap the corn tightly in the foil so everything stays inside. Heat your grill to medium and give the grate a quick oiling to prevent sticking. Place the foil packets on the grill, but away from direct flames, and cook for about 35 to 45 minutes, turning them every now and then. You'll know it's done when the corn is tender and the bacon is crispy.
