Step 1

Warm your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a big bowl, mix together the flour, brown sugar, and egg. Then, cut in the butter until the mixture looks crumbly. Stir in the chopped peanuts, and set aside about 2 cups of this peanut crumble for later. Press the rest evenly into a 9x13-inch baking pan.
