Better Cooking Tips
- Roast at a high temperature to get crispy edges and tender stems.
- Toss the broccoli halfway through roasting for even browning and flavor distribution.
Directions
Heat your oven to 475°F (245°C). In a small bowl, mix together some olive oil and minced garlic. Chop the broccoli into florets, leaving a couple of inches of stem on each piece, then spread them out on a rimmed baking sheet. Drizzle the garlic oil over the broccoli and give everything a good toss so the pieces are nicely coated. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste. Pop the broccoli in the oven and roast for about 7 to 9 minutes, turning once halfway through, until the edges are a little charred and the broccoli is tender. When it’s done, transfer it to a serving dish and finish by drizzling some balsamic vinegar over the top. Enjoy!
