Cooking Secrets
- Preheat your pan well and use a non-stick surface to prevent sticking.
- Cook on medium heat to ensure the pancakes cook through without burning.
Directions
Combine the oats, flour, protein powder, and cinnamon together in a bowl. In a blender, combine the bananas, milk, eggs, brown sugar, and vanilla extract, then blend until the mixture is nice and smooth. With the blender still running, slowly add the dry oat mixture to the wet ingredients until you get a smooth batter. Heat a skillet or griddle over medium-low heat and toss in a little butter to melt. Pour about a quarter cup of batter onto the pan for each pancake, then sprinkle some chocolate chips on top. Let them cook until you see bubbles forming and the edges start to look set, usually around 3 to 5 minutes. Flip the pancakes carefully and cook for another few minutes until they’re golden and cooked through. Serve warm and enjoy!
