Why This Dish Is Amazing
Cooking Secrets
- Use a meat thermometer to ensure the wings reach an internal temperature of 165Β°F.
- Toss the wings in sauce while they are still hot for better flavor absorption.
Step 1
Lightly heat your ovenβs broiler. Spread the quartered jalapenos out on a baking sheet and pop them under the broiler. Let them cook until they just start to brown, which should take about 5 minutes per side. Once theyβre done, take them out and let them cool enough so you can handle them safely. Keep the broiler on.
Step 2
Stuff each jalapeno quarter with a strip of pepperjack cheese. Then wrap each one with chicken and bacon strips, using toothpicks to hold everything together. Place them back on the baking sheet.
Step 3
Put the wrapped jalapenos under the broiler again and cook until the cheese is melted and both the bacon and chicken are nicely cooked throughβabout 5 minutes per side. When theyβre ready, serve them up on a platter with some buffalo wing sauce and bleu cheese dressing for dipping. Enjoy!
