Why This Dish Is Worth Trying
Cooking Secrets
- Preheat the air fryer for a few minutes to ensure even cooking and a crispy finish.
- Avoid overcrowding the basket to allow hot air to circulate for the best texture.
Step 1
Puls the cauliflower and black garlic together in a food processor until it looks like fine rice. Then, transfer that to a mixing bowl. Add in the flour, eggs, bread crumbs, baking powder, salt, pepper, and all the herbs and spicesβbasil, parsley, oregano, rosemary, red pepper flakes, and onion powder. Give everything a good stir until itβs well combined.
Step 2
Heat up your air fryer to 400Β°F (200Β°C). Line the basket with some parchment paper and give it a quick spray with cooking spray so nothing sticks. Use a large cookie scoop or spoon to drop the cauliflower mixture onto the parchment, then gently press each mound down with your fingers to form little patties.
Step 3
Pop them in the air fryer and cook for about 4 to 6 minutes. After that, flip the patties over carefully with a spatula and cook for another minute or so until they feel firm and cooked through. Take them out and place a small slice of Swiss cheese on top of each patty. Put them back in the air fryer just long enough for the cheese to melt, around 30 to 40 seconds, and then theyβre ready to enjoy!
