Step 1
Mix the yeast, sugar, and warm water in a jar. Give it a quick stir, cover it, and let it sit for about 10-15 minutes until it gets frothy and bubbly.

In a large bowl, combine the flour and salt. Pour in the yeast mixture and mix everything together. Knead the dough until itβs soft and smooth, then add the oil and knead a bit more. Cover the dough with cling wrap and let it rest for about an hour.

While the dough is resting, heat some oil in a pan. SautΓ© the chopped garlic for a minute, then add the onions and cook for another 1-2 minutes. Toss in the ground chicken and cook until it turns white.

Season with salt, pepper, and chili flakes. Add the chopped capsicum and cook for another minute. Stir in the cheese and mayonnaise, then turn off the heat and set the filling aside.

Once the dough has risen, punch it down and divide it into small balls. Lightly flour your counter, flatten each ball, and spoon some chicken filling in the center. Make some cuts around the edges and carefully braid the dough over the filling.
