Why This Recipe Is So Easy To Love
Chef Tips
- Use a non-stick pan or lightly oil the baking sheet to prevent sticking.
- Adjust the buffalo sauce heat level by adding more or less hot sauce to suit your taste.
Directions
Beat the egg in a bowl until itβs smooth, about 30 seconds to a minute. In another bowl, pour out the matzo meal. Dip each slice of tempeh into the egg, making sure itβs completely covered, then dredge it in the matzo meal so itβs nicely coated. Heat some oil in a skillet until it reaches around 350Β°F (175Β°C), then fry the breaded tempeh pieces for about 3 to 5 minutes, until they turn golden brown. Once cooked, place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain and cool for a bit. Toss the tempeh in a bowl with enough Buffalo wing sauce to coat every piece, then cover and give it a good shake to evenly spread the sauce. Serve warm with blue cheese dressing on the side.
