Helpful Tips For Cooking
- Steam or blanch the broccoli briefly to keep it crisp and bright green.
- Use sharp cheddar for a strong, creamy flavor that melts beautifully inside the burrito.
Step 1
Warm your oven to 350ยฐF. In a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef, stirring now and then, until itโs fully brownedโthis should take about 5 minutes. Once done, transfer the beef to a bowl and set it aside for a bit.
Step 2
Using the same skillet, add the Knorrยฎ Rice Sidesโข Cheddar Broccoli mix, water, and beans. Bring everything to a boil over high heat, then lower the heat to medium. Cover the pan and let it cook for about 7 minutes, or until the rice is nice and tender. Stir the cooked beef back into the skillet, take it off the heat, and let it sit for a couple of minutes. Then, mix in half a cup of salsa and half a cup of cheese.
Step 3
Lay out your tortillas and spoon about 3/4 cup of the beef and rice mixture onto each one. Roll them up snugly.
Step 4
Grab a 13x9-inch baking dish and spread half a cup of salsa across the bottom. Place the burritos seam-side down in the dish. Pour the remaining salsa down the center of the burritos and sprinkle the rest of the cheese on top. Cover everything tightly with foil.
Step 5
Pop the dish in the oven and bake for about 25 minutes, until everything is heated through. When itโs ready, sprinkle with some chopped green onions for a fresh touch before serving.
