Gently heat your oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C) and lining a jelly roll pan with aluminum foil. In a saucepan, melt the butter and margarine together over medium heat. Once melted, stir in the brown sugar until it dissolves completely. Let the mixture come to a gentle boil, then keep it boiling for about 2 minutes until it turns caramelized.
Step 2
Arrange the graham crackers in a single layer on the foil-lined pan. Pour the warm caramel mixture evenly over the crackers, making sure to cover them well. Sprinkle the pecans on top for a nice crunch.

Pop the pan into the oven and bake for around 12 minutes, or until the caramel topping starts to set. Once out of the oven, let everything cool completely before breaking the crackers into pieces and serving.
