Why This Dish Is Hard To Resist
Cooking Hints
- Grate your own cheese for better melting and flavor.
- Keep an eye on the gratin while baking to prevent the cheese from burning.
Directions
Heat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Lightly spray a shallow baking dish or a glass pie plate with cooking spray to keep things from sticking. Spread the artichoke hearts evenly in the dish, then pour about half of the salad dressing over them. Pop it in the oven and bake for 10 minutes. When the time’s up, take it out and sprinkle the cheese all over the top. Drizzle the remaining salad dressing on top, then put it back in the oven until the cheese melts and gets bubbly—this should take around 10 more minutes. Once it’s out, sprinkle the fried onions over everything and pop it back in the oven just for a minute to warm those up.
