Why This Dish Is Hard To Resist
Quick Kitchen Tips
- Use a non-stick pan to prevent the glaze from burning.
- Baste the chicken with the glaze several times while cooking for a shiny finish.
Step 1
In a bowl, whisk together honey, Worcestershire sauce, vegetable oil, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt until the salt dissolves. Add the chicken pieces and turn them to make sure they're well coated. Cover the bowl and pop it in the fridge to marinate for about 24 hours, flipping the chicken once halfway through.
Step 2
When you're ready to cook, preheat your oven to 350°F. Line a 9x13-inch baking dish with foil and give it a quick spray of cooking spray. In a shallow bowl, mix the crushed corn flakes with chopped walnuts and a little salt.
Step 3
Take the chicken out of the marinade (discard the marinade) and press each piece into the crumb mixture so it’s nicely coated. Arrange the chicken in the prepared baking dish.
Step 4
Bake the chicken for about an hour, until it’s cooked through and golden brown. The juices should run clear, and if you have a meat thermometer, the thickest part should read at least 160°F. Let it rest a few minutes before serving.
