Why This Recipe Is So Flavorful
Quick Kitchen Tips
- Keep the heat medium to low when cooking to melt the cheese without burning the tortilla.
- Brush the tortillas lightly with butter or oil for a crispier finish.
Step 1
Melt about three-quarters of a teaspoon of butter in a large skillet over medium heat, swirling the pan to coat the surface evenly. Lay one tortilla in the butter, then top it with slices of Brie and apple. Sprinkle some brown sugar and cinnamon over the filling, and place the second tortilla on top.
Step 2
Let it cook until the bottom tortilla turns golden brown, which should take around 3 to 5 minutes. Spread the remaining butter on the top tortilla, then carefully flip the whole quesadilla over. Cook it for another 3 to 5 minutes until the other side is nicely browned and the cheese inside has melted.
Step 3
Once it’s done, take it out of the pan and cut it into quarters. Serve warm and enjoy!
