Tips For Perfect Results
- Cook the pasta until just al dente to avoid it becoming mushy when mixed with the sauce.
- Adjust the spice level by adding more or less hot sauce to the shrimp coating.
Step 1
Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook the fettuccine until itβs tender but still has a bit of bite, about 8 minutes. While the pasta is cooking, whisk together the mayonnaise, chili sauce, cream, garlic, Sriracha, paprika, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl until smooth.
Step 2
Melt the butter in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add the shrimp, along with the wine and lime juice, and cook, stirring occasionally, until the shrimp start to turn pink, about 3 to 4 minutes.
Step 3
Once the pasta is done, drain it, reserving a little pasta water just in case. Toss the shrimp mixture with up to 2 tablespoons of that pasta water, then stir in the creamy sauce you made earlier along with some red pepper flakes for a bit of heat. Finally, add the pasta to the skillet and give everything a good toss to make sure the noodles are well coated with the sauce.
Step 4
Serve it up right away and enjoy!
