What Makes This Recipe Unique
Cooking Pointers
- Toast the bread slices until golden brown to add extra crunch.
- Sprinkle sea salt sparingly to avoid overpowering the chocolate.
Directions
Preheat your ovenβs broiler and moving the rack so itβs about 6 inches from the heat. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat to keep things from sticking. Arrange the baguette slices in a single layer on the sheet, then pop them under the broiler for about 2 minutes until they start to turn golden. Flip each slice over and broil for another 2 minutes, then turn the broiler off. Give the slices another flip, drizzle a little olive oil over each one, and press a piece of chocolate right into the center. Slide the tray back into the oven for a couple more minutes until the chocolate softens. Once out of the oven, sprinkle a pinch of sea salt over each chocolate-topped crostini, and youβre ready to enjoy!
