What Makes This Recipe So Great
Simple Cooking Tips
- Use medium-high heat on the grill to get a nice char without burning.
- Flip the wings frequently to cook them evenly and prevent flare-ups.
Directions
Cut the wings into sections, getting rid of the tips. Season them well with poultry seasoning salt, garlic salt, and black pepper. Heat up your grill to medium and give the grate a light coating of oil so nothing sticks. Place the wings on the grill and cook them slowly, turning every now and then, until the skin turns a nice golden brownโthis should take about 45 minutes. To make sure theyโre done, check that the meat near the bone reaches 165ยฐF. While the wings are cooking, mix the hot sauce and butter in a microwave-safe dish and heat it for about a minute until the butter melts. Give it a good stir to blend everything together. Once the wings are grilled, dip them into the sauce, then put them back on the grill for 3 minutes. Dip them in the sauce again, grill for another 3 to 5 minutes, then transfer them to a serving dish with the rest of the sauce. Enjoy!
