Gently heat your oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C) and grease a loaf pan so the bread doesnβt stick. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. In another large bowl, mix the hot water and cocoa powder until itβs smooth and lump-free.

In a separate bowl, combine the mashed bananas, Greek yogurt, melted butter, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extractβgive it a good stir until everything is well mixed. Gently fold the flour mixture into the banana batter until just combined.

Take half of that banana batter and stir it into the cocoa mixture until itβs nicely blended. Now, alternate spoonfuls of the plain banana batter and the chocolate batter into your loaf pan to create a pretty swirl pattern.
