Why This Recipe Is So Enjoyable
Chef's Cooking Tips
- Warm the taco shells briefly in the oven for extra crispiness.
- Add a little taco seasoning to the meat for more flavor.
Step 1
Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Break it up as it cooks until itโs nicely browned and crumbly, which should take around 10 minutes. Once itโs cooked through, drain any excess grease. Then, stir in the taco seasoning, diced tomatoes with green chilies, and the ranch-style beans. Let everything simmer together for about 10 minutes, giving it a good stir now and then.
Step 2
To serve, spread a good handful of tortilla chips on a plate and spoon some of the beef mixture over the top. Keep layering the chips and beef until youโve used it all up. Finally, sprinkle a couple of tablespoons of shredded Mexican cheese blend over each serving and enjoy!
