Why This Recipe Is So Loved
Quick Kitchen Tips
- Preheat the grill to medium-high to ensure crispy skin without burning.
- Use a meat thermometer to check that the wings reach an internal temperature of 165°F for safety.
Step 1
Put the wings in a glass or plastic bowl, then pour the hot sauce over them. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and pop it in the fridge. Let the wings soak up the sauce for at least 2 hours, but if you have time, leaving them for up to 12 hours will make them even better.
Step 2
When you’re ready to cook, heat your grill to medium-high and give the grates a light oiling to keep the wings from sticking. Place the wings on the grill and cook them, turning every now and then, while brushing on some of the leftover marinade to keep them flavorful. It usually takes about 10 minutes for the wings to cook through and stop looking pink inside.
Step 3
Keep grilling and turning the wings for another 5 to 7 minutes until they’re nicely browned and slightly crispy. Once they’re done, take them off the grill and get ready to enjoy!
