Why This Dish Is So Satisfying
Quick Kitchen Tips
- Sear the chicken first using the sautรฉ function to lock in juices before pressure cooking.
- Let the pressure release naturally for a few minutes to keep the chicken moist and tender.
Directions
Blend pineapple slices in a high-powered blender until you have about half a cup of smooth puree. Pour the pineapple puree into your Instant Pot, then add soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, and garlic. Give it a good stir to combine everything. Place the chicken breasts on top of the sauce. Turn on the sautรฉ function and let it cook for around 8 minutes, stirring now and then to prevent sticking. Once thatโs done, turn off the sautรฉ mode, close the lid, and lock it in place. Set the Instant Pot to cook on high pressure for 10 minutes. It will take about 10 to 15 minutes for the pressure to build up. When the cooking time is up, carefully release the pressure using the quick-release method, then open the lid and your chicken is ready to enjoy.
