It should take about 55 to 60 minutesโcheck by inserting a toothpick in the center; itโs done when it comes out clean. Once baked, let the cake cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before turning it out onto a plate. Give it another 20 to 30 minutes to cool completely. When youโre ready to frost, warm the frosting in the microwave on medium power, stirring every 30 seconds until itโs just soft enough to drizzle. Pour the frosting over the cake and finish it off with a sprinkle of candy-coated milk chocolate pieces for a fun touch.
