- Use a meat thermometer to ensure the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165Β°F for safe eating.
Step 1
Put the chicken drumsticks in a pan with some salt and enough water to cover them. Bring it to a boil, then remove the drumsticks and let them cool down.
Step 2
Once cooled, carefully pull the meat off the bones and set the bones aside. Shred the chicken into bite-sized pieces.
Step 3
In a bowl, combine the shredded chicken with boiled potatoes, chopped capsicum, grated carrot, breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, chili flakes, and chopped coriander. Mix everything well.
Step 4
Lightly grease your hands with oil, then take some of the mixture and shape it around each bone, pressing it firmly so it sticks.
Step 5
Make a smooth batter by mixing cornflour with salt, chili flakes, and enough water. Dip each drumstick in this slurry, then coat it evenly with breadcrumbs.
Step 6
Heat some oil in a pan and fry the coated drumsticks until theyβre golden brown and crispy all over.
