Why This Dish Is So Satisfying
Cooking Tips
- Use a thick cheese that melts well but doesnβt leak out too quickly during frying.
- Let the chicken rest for a few minutes after frying to keep it juicy inside.
Step 1
In a bowl, mix the chicken with ginger garlic paste, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Let it rest for at least 15 minutes to soak up the flavors.
Step 2
In another bowl, combine the all-purpose flour with cumin seeds, oregano, salt, pepper, chili flakes, and chopped coriander. Add a little water and stir until you get a smooth batter.
Step 3
Dip each piece of chicken into the batter, making sure itβs well coated, and set them aside.
Step 4
Heat some oil in a pan over medium-low heat and fry the chicken pieces until they turn golden brown and crispy. Once done, remove them and let them drain on paper towels.
Step 5
In a separate pan, heat half a cup of oil, add some flour, and cook it for about a minute. Slowly pour in the milk, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens. Season with salt, pepper, and chili flakes.
Step 6
Stir in ketchup and then add the mozzarella cheese. Cook for another 1-2 minutes until the cheese melts and the sauce is smooth and creamy.
Step 7
Arrange the fried chicken on a serving plate, pour the cheesy sauce over the top, and finish with a sprinkle of fresh coriander leaves. Enjoy!
