Gently heat your oven to 275ยฐF (135ยฐC) and lining a couple of baking sheets with parchment paper. In a big bowl, combine the rolled oats, flax seed meal, steel-cut oats, oat bran, wheat germ, and pecans. In another bowl, whisk together the agave nectar, pumpkin, brown sugar, water, canola oil, vanilla, pumpkin pie spice, and sea salt until the sugar and salt are fully dissolved.

Pour the liquid mixture over the dry ingredients and give everything a good stir until the oats and nuts are well coated. Spread the mixture evenly on your prepared baking sheets. Pop them in the oven and bake for about an hour, making sure to stir every 20 minutes to keep things from sticking or burning.

After the first hour, mix in the chopped dates and bake for another 20 to 30 minutes until the granola turns a nice golden brown, stirring once more halfway through.
