Tips For Best Results
- Don’t overmix the meat to keep the meatballs tender.
- Brown the meatballs in a hot pan before baking to lock in juices.
Directions
Lightly heat your oven to 400°F (200°C). In a big bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped chestnuts, soy sauce, brown sugar, onion powder, and garlic powder. Mix everything well until it’s all evenly combined. Roll the mixture into meatballs about the size of two tablespoons and place them on a baking sheet. Pop them in the oven and bake for around 15 minutes, or until they’re cooked through and no longer pink inside. While the meatballs are baking, mix together the apricot preserves and cider vinegar in a clean bowl. Once the meatballs are done, toss them gently in the apricot glaze, spread them back out on the baking sheet, and bake for another 5 minutes so they get nice and sticky. Let them cool slightly before serving and enjoy!
