Why This Dish Is Worth Trying
Helpful Kitchen Tips
- Slice the steak thinly against the grain to keep it tender and easy to cook quickly.
- Keep the vegetables crisp by stir-frying them on high heat for just a few minutes.
Directions
In a small bowl, whisk together the steak sauce, soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, and brown sugar until everything is well combined and smooth. Heat the sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Once hot, add the onion and ginger and cook, stirring occasionally, until the onion starts to turn golden, about 2 to 3 minutes. Toss in the steak, broccoli, mushrooms, and garlic, and keep stirring every now and then until the steak is cooked through and the veggies are tender, which should take around 8 minutes. Finally, pour the sauce over the stir-fry and give it a good stir so everything gets coated nicely. Let it cook for another couple of minutes to let the flavors meld together, then youβre ready to serve.
