Gently heat your oven to 450ยฐF (230ยฐC). In a large bowl, mix together the brown sugar, flour, and a pinch of salt. Then whisk in the sour cream, egg, and vanilla extract until everything is well combined. Toss the apples into this mixture, making sure theyโre nicely coated, and pour it all into your unbaked pie crust.
