Step 1
Warm your oven to 350Β°F and lining an 8x8-inch pan with parchment paper. In a big bowl, combine the oats, raisins, wheat germ, both flours, cocoa powder, brown sugar, cinnamon, ginger, allspice, and a pinch of salt. Make a little well in the center of the dry mix.

In another bowl, whisk together the applesauce, honey, egg, and vanilla until everything is smooth. Pour this wet mixture into the well you made, then use two spoons to stir everything together until itβs evenly mixed. Press the mixture firmly into the prepared pan so itβs nice and even.

Pop it in the oven and bake for about 20 minutes, or until the bars feel firm to the touch. Once theyβre done, take them out and let them cool for around 10 minutes before cutting into 12 bars. Enjoy!
