Why This Dish Is So Special
Cooking Tips
- Use a thermometer to check that the internal temperature reaches 160Β°F for safe eating.
- Let the sausages rest for a few minutes after cooking to keep them juicy.
Step 1
Stir the ground pork with maple syrup, salt, sage, onion powder, black pepper, red pepper flakes, marjoram, coriander, and cloves in a bowl until everything is well combined. Then, shape the mixture into about 10 small patties.
Step 2
Heat some olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, cook the patties in batches so they donβt overcrowd the pan. Let them cook for about 3 to 4 minutes on each side, until they're no longer pink in the middle and the juices run clear. If you have a meat thermometer, aim for an internal temperature of at least 160Β°F (73Β°C) to be safe.
Step 3
Once all the patties are cooked through, theyβre ready to serve. Enjoy!
