Directions
Pres the block of tofu gently to squeeze out as much water as you can. Then, rub the grill seasoning all over it. Pop the tofu into a resealable plastic bag and toss it in the freezer for at least 4 hours, or even overnight if you have the time. When youโre ready, take it out and let it thaw on the counter until itโs soft enough to slice. Cut the block in half lengthwise, put the pieces back in the bag, drizzle with a bit of olive oil, seal it up, and give the bag a little massage to coat the tofu evenly with the oil and seasoning. Let it sit for about 15 minutes so the flavors can soak in. Heat up your griddle or grill over medium heat, then cook the tofu steaks until they get nice and crispyโabout 3 to 5 minutes per side. Serve them right away while theyโre hot and delicious.
