Layer the onion, chicken, butter, garlic, carrots, potatoes, and cauliflower right into your slow cooker. Sprinkle the curry powder, turmeric, chile flakes, ginger, salt, and pepper evenly over everything. Pour in just enough chicken stock to almost cover the ingredients.
