Why This Recipe Works
Cooking Tips
- Warm the juice gently to avoid burning the spices.
- Add a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg to enhance the magical aroma.
Step 1
Combin 3 cups of apple cider with ginger, a cinnamon stick, and cloves in a saucepan. Bring it all to a boil, then lower the heat and let it simmer gently for about 15 minutes until itβs slightly reduced. Take the pan off the heat, and while itβs still warm, stir in the brown sugar and honey until theyβve completely dissolved.
Step 2
Pour this fragrant mixture into a wide glass dish and pop it in the fridge to chill for at least 45 minutes. Once itβs nice and cold, transfer it to a large pitcher and mix in the remaining apple cider along with the pumpkin puree. Give everything a good stir until the pumpkin blends smoothly into the juice. Enjoy!
