Directions
Warm your oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). While itโs warming up, lay the tomato slices on some paper towels to soak up any extra moisture. Place your pizza crust on a baking sheet or a baking steel, then spread the pizza sauce evenly over it. Sprinkle a generous layer of shredded mozzarella, followed by the tomato slices and chunks of fresh mozzarella. Add the chicken sausage pieces on top, and dollop pesto sauce all over the pizza. Pop it in the oven and bake for about 12 to 15 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and the crust has turned a nice golden brown. Right after you take it out, scatter torn basil leaves over the top and enjoy!
