What Makes This Recipe So Good
Tips For Better Flavor
- Warm the tortillas slightly before assembling to make them more pliable.
- Cover the ring loosely with foil while baking to prevent over-browning.
Step 1
Warm your oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC). In a bowl, combine the chicken, Cheddar cheese, mayonnaise, and taco seasoning, mixing everything together until well blended. In a separate small bowl, toss the chopped tomatoes with lime juice, then stir that into the chicken mixture.
Step 2
Set aside about 2 tablespoons of crushed chips for later, and stir the rest into the chicken mix. Sprinkle the reserved crushed chips onto a cutting board, then unroll your crescent roll dough over them, gently pressing so the chips stick to the dough.
Step 3
Separate the dough into triangles and arrange them in a circle on a baking sheet, with the points facing outward and leaving a space about 5 inches wide in the center. Spoon the chicken mixture onto the wide end of each triangle, then fold the dough edges over the filling to form a ring.
Step 4
Pop the ring into the oven and bake until itโs golden and bubbly, about 20 to 25 minutes. Once itโs out of the oven, add some salsa, sour cream, and avocado on top, and serve it alongside extra corn chips for dipping.
