Step 1
Warm your oven to 325ยฐF (165ยฐC) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan. In a bowl, whisk together the all-purpose and whole wheat flours, flax seed, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg. In a separate bowl, cream the butter, brown sugar, and sucralose sweetener until the mixture is light and fluffy. Then, beat in the eggs, vanilla, and lemon juice until everything is well combined.
Step 2
Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until you get a smooth batter. Fold in the yogurt, mashed bananas, half of the walnuts, and half of the chocolate chips, being careful not to overmix. Pour the batter into your prepared loaf pan, then sprinkle the remaining walnuts and chocolate chips on top for a nice finish.
Step 3
Bake the loaf for about 70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely. Enjoy!
