Why This Recipe Is So Good
Helpful Chef Tips
- Make sure to watch the mug cake closely as cooking times can vary with different microwaves.
- Stir the batter well to avoid any lumps and ensure even cooking.
Directions
Spray the inside of four microwave-safe mugs with a little cooking spray. Drop a teaspoon of grape jelly into the bottom of each mug. In a bowl, whisk together the cake mix and peanut butter until combined. Then add the whipped cream and egg substitute, stirring until the batter is nice and smooth. Divide the batter evenly among the mugs. Pop one mug in the microwave and cook on high for about 1 minute and 15 seconds, or until the cake feels set. Repeat with the other mugs. When they’re done, carefully turn each mug upside down onto a plate to release the little cakes. Enjoy!
