Gently heat your oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C). In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until the mixture is smooth and fluffy. Crack in the egg and mix it in well, then add the peanut butter and blend until everything is evenly combined. Next, gently stir in the cake mix just until you donβt see any more dry streaks. Scoop out the dough and roll it into balls about an inch wide. Place them on an ungreased baking sheet and press each one down with a fork to flatten. Pop the tray into the oven and bake for around 10 minutes, or until the edges turn a nice golden color. Let the cookies rest on the baking sheet for a minute before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
