Pour the coffee into your slow cooker, then add the diced tomatoes, beer, tomato paste, beef broth, brown sugar, chili sauce, jalapenos, and all the spicesโcumin, cocoa powder, chili powder, oregano, cayenne, coriander, and salt. Give everything a good stir to combine.

Heat some oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef, chopped onions, and garlic, cooking and stirring until the beef is fully browned, about 7 to 10 minutes. Once itโs cooked through, transfer the beef mixture into the slow cooker.

Now, slowly sprinkle the cornmeal into the slow cooker while stirring to make sure it doesnโt clump up. After everything is mixed well, turn the slow cooker down to Low and let it cook for about 2 hours. This slow simmer will help all the flavors meld together perfectly.
