Kitchen Tricks
- Avoid overbaking to keep the brownies moist and fudgy.
- Consider adding a handful of nuts or dark chocolate chips for extra flavor and crunch.
Directions
Warm your oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C) and greasing a 9-inch baking pan. Spread the mixed nuts out on a baking sheet and toast them in the oven for about 10 to 12 minutes, until theyβre golden and smell amazing. Once toasted, let them cool down a bit. In a bowl, mix together the brown sugar, flaxseed oil, and butter until everything is smooth and creamy. Crack in the eggs one at a time, giving the mixture a good whisk after each addition, then stir in the vanilla. Fold in two-thirds of the toasted nuts along with the almond flour, cocoa powder, all-purpose flour, chopped dark chocolate, and baking powder until the batter is well combined. Pour the batter into your prepared pan, then sprinkle the remaining nuts on top. Bake for around 20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let the brownies cool before slicing and enjoying!
