Why This Recipe Works
Cooking Pointers
- Toast the bread lightly to add a bit of crunch without overpowering the fillings.
- Prepare the fillings ahead of time to let the flavors meld and save time before serving.
Step 1
Tos the luncheon meat cubes, processed cheese sauce, pimientos, and sandwich spread into a blender. Pulse everything a few times, pausing to scrape down the sides so it all blends smoothly. Once it’s ready, scoop the spread into a bowl.
Step 2
Spread a generous layer of the mixture onto 15 slices of white bread. Place a slice of whole wheat bread on top of each one, pressing them together gently. Trim off the crusts for a neat look.
Step 3
Cut each sandwich diagonally to create triangles. To finish, sprinkle some parsley flakes over the sandwiches and add a slice of cucumber on top of each piece. They’re perfect for a light, tasty snack!
