Step 1
Gently heat your oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C) and greasing a 9x13-inch baking pan. In a large bowl, combine the flour, brown sugar, pumpkin, half a cup of butter, eggs, cinnamon, vanilla, baking soda, nutmeg, ginger, and baking powder. Use an electric mixer on medium speed to mix everything together until the batter is smooth and well combined, which should take about 2 minutes. Gently fold in the pecans, then spread the batter evenly in your prepared pan.

Pop it into the oven and bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the edges start to turn a nice golden brown. Once it's done, take it out and let it cool completely.
