Why This Dish Is Worth Trying
Kitchen Tips
- Adjust the steeping time to control the strength of your tea.
- Add sweeteners or herbs after brewing to customize the flavor.
Step 1
Pour 5 cups of water into your Instant Pot or similar pressure cooker. Add the sugar and tea bags right in. Secure the lid and set the pressure cooker to high pressure for 5 minutes. It will take about 10 to 15 minutes for the pot to come up to pressure.
Step 2
Once the cooking time is up, let the pressure release naturally for about 15 minutes. After that, carefully use the quick-release method to let out any remaining pressure, which should take another 5 minutes.
Step 3
Open the lid, then take out the tea bags and give them a good squeeze to get all the flavor out. Pour the brewed tea into a pitcher and add the remaining water.
Step 4
Serve your iced tea over plenty of ice and garnish with lemon slices and fresh mint for a refreshing touch.
