What Makes This Recipe So Good
Kitchen Tips
- Use a mix of cheeses for a richer flavor.
- Add fresh cilantro or avocado after baking for a bright finish.
Step 1
Lightly heat your oven to 350°F and lightly grease a baking sheet. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the sausage until it’s browned and cooked through, about 5 to 7 minutes. Drain off any excess grease. Spread the pizza dough out on the prepared pan, then spread a layer of nacho cheese sauce over the top. Next, evenly scatter the hash browns over the cheese, and sprinkle the cooked sausage on top.
Step 2
In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, salsa, and taco seasoning until everything is well combined. Melt some butter in a skillet over medium heat, then pour in the egg mixture. Cook, stirring frequently, until the eggs are scrambled and just set, about 5 to 7 minutes. Let the eggs cool for a few minutes so they’re easier to handle, then spread them over the sausage layer. Finish by sprinkling the Mexican cheese blend over everything.
Step 3
Pop the pizza into the oven and bake until the crust turns golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly, roughly 15 to 20 minutes. Let it cool for a minute or two before slicing and serving.
