Step 1
Put the potatoes in a microwave-safe bowl and covering them with water. Toss in the corn as well. Microwave on high for 5 minutes, then give everything a good stir. Pop it back in the microwave for another 5 minutes, then drain off the water.

Heat some olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the garlic and let it sizzle for a bit before stirring in the potatoes and corn so they get nicely coated in the oil. Sprinkle in the garlic powder, salt, chili powder, oregano, marjoram, paprika, cinnamon, and black pepper. Cook everything together until the potatoes are tender and have a nice golden-brown color on the outsideโthis should take about 10 minutes.
Step 3
Finally, add the ham to the pan, cover it up, and let it cook until the ham is warmed through, which usually takes about 5 to 10 minutes. Give it a stir now and then, and then itโs ready to serve.
