Melt the butter in a large saucepan over medium-low heat, then take it off the heat. Stir in the rice cereal, brown sugar, coconut, and pecans until everything is well coated. Press half of this mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish. Next, slice the ice cream and spread it evenly over the cereal layer. Top it with the rest of the cereal mixture, pressing it down gently. Pop the pan into the freezer and let it set for at least an hour. When itโs firm, cut into squares and enjoy!
