Tips For Best Results
- Avoid overcrowding the basket to allow hot air to circulate well around each hot dog.
- Use a thermometer to check that the hot dogs reach an internal temperature of 165°F for safety.
Directions
Preheat your air fryer to 390°F (200°C) and let it heat up for about 4 minutes. While it’s warming, make 5 small slits along each hot dog to help the seasoning soak in. Sprinkle about half a teaspoon of taco seasoning evenly over each one, rubbing it in a bit. Pop the hot dogs into the air fryer basket and cook them for around 5 minutes. Then, place each hot dog in a bun and put them back in the air fryer. Let them cook for another 4 minutes or so, until the buns are nicely toasted and the hot dogs have a little crisp to them. Finish by piling on some guacamole, salsa, and jalapeños to taste. Enjoy!
