- Cook the sauce on medium heat to avoid burning the garlic and ginger.
Step 1
Heat some oil in a pan and toss in the chillies, green capsicum, red bell pepper, and onions. Let them cook for about a minute, then take them off the heat and set aside.

In the same pan, add a bit more oil if needed, then throw in the chopped onions. Cook them for a minute or two until they start to soften.

Add the chicken pieces to the pan and cook for about 4-5 minutes until theyโre lightly browned.

Stir in the ginger garlic paste and let it cook for another minute until fragrant.

Sprinkle in the turmeric, pepper, cumin seeds, red chilli powder, salt, and Kashmiri chilli powder. Mix everything well so the chicken is nicely coated with the spices.

Pour in the ketchup and cook it for 1-2 minutes to bring out the flavors.

Add some water, cover the pan, and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes so the chicken cooks through and the sauce thickens a bit.

Finally, add the sautรฉed veggies back into the pan, give it a good mix, and youโre ready to serve!
