Why This Recipe Works
Kitchen Tricks
- Preheat the grill to medium heat to cook the drumsticks evenly without burning the outside.
- Use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches 165Β°F (75Β°C) for safe eating.
Step 1
Place the chicken drumsticks in a pan. Add enough water to cover them and a pinch of salt. Bring it to a gentle boil, cover, and let it cook for about 10-12 minutes. Once done, drain the water and set the chicken aside.
Step 2
In a bowl, mix together crushed coriander seeds, tikka masala, chili flakes, pepper, garlic powder, ginger powder, salt, lemon juice, and yogurt until well combined.
Step 3
Coat the drumsticks with this spice mixture, making sure to rub it in well. Let them marinate in the fridge for at least 2 hours to soak up all the flavors.
Step 4
When ready, heat a little oil in a grill pan over medium heat. Grill the drumsticks until they turn a nice golden brown on all sides.
Step 5
Serve the drumsticks hot with your favorite sauce and enjoy!
