Why You'll Want This Again
Cooking Pointers
- Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes to prevent spreading.
- Donβt overbake; remove cookies when edges are golden but centers still look soft.
Directions
Gently heat your oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C) and line a couple of baking sheets with parchment paper. In a medium bowl, mix the melted butter and brown sugar until everything is nice and smooth. Crack in the eggs one at a time, giving each a good stir before adding the next. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and baking soda, then slowly add this to the butter and sugar mixture. Once combined, fold in the chocolate chips. Scoop out rounded spoonfuls of dough and place them onto your prepared sheets, leaving a bit of space between each. Pop them in the oven and bake for about 8 to 10 minutes, until theyβre just starting to turn golden. Let the cookies rest on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
